Or if you use Blender MultiGPU rendering or are using MultiGPU for other reasons then you may as well make use of DX12 MultiGPU or DX11 Crossfire. If you already have one GPU and you find a matching GPU at low cost then it is worth it. Crossfire DX11 and DX12 MultiGPU are definitely not useless as long as your motherboard PCIe slots have good bandwidth and there are specific AAA games you like and you know support it then great.
